LINDSAY, Ont. - Provincial police say the pilot of a float plane has died in an incident on Balsam Lake, north of Lindsay.
The plane overturned Wednesday afternoon about 500 metres from shore in the West Bay area of the lake.
Police say the body of the male pilot, the lone occupant, has been recovered from the plane.
The name of the man is not being released pending notification of next of kin, Const. Mark Boileau said Wednesday night.
