Traffic on the westbound Gardiner Expressway is jammed near Jameson Avenue because of a collision involving a stopped Toronto police cruiser.

All of the right lanes have reopened at Parkside Drive, but traffic is still backed up. At one point, two right lanes were blocked by emergency vehicles.

The police cruiser was rear-ended while two officers were conducting a traffic stop. One officer was seated in the car at the time, but he or she wasn't injured.

An ambulance was called to the scene as a precaution, but EMS officials said no one was injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash. It's not known if any charges will be laid.
