Toronto police have released video surveillance footage of the man wanted in connection with a daylight shooting at Osgoode subway station on Thursday.

The video shows the suspect walking through the station wearing a black parka with a fur-trimmed hood, black pants and a black Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap.

Yesterday, police released a photo from the scene. The suspect is described as a 20- to 27-year-old black male with a light complexion, six feet to six foot two inches tall, and weighing about 185 pounds.

The shooting happened at about 10:45 a.m. inside Osgoode station, at Queen Street and University Avenue. At least three shots were fired after a dispute broke out on the platform.

The 19-year-old victim was shot twice -- once in the stomach and thigh.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has been released and is recovering at home.

Witnesses are urged to contact Toronto police at 416-808-5200.
