Toronto police have removed a group of Jewish women from the Israeli Consulate after eight people staged a sit-in protest Wednesday.
Const. Tony Vella says police were called in at 11 a.m. after the non-violent protesters got inside.
The protesters include writer and professor Judy Rebick and Judith Deutsch, the president of the group Science for Peace.
They're protesting the the Israeli assault against Palestinians in Gaza, asking Israel to stop attacking and allow humanitarian aid to flow through.
No arrests were made.
