A report on the agenda for the TTC commissioners meeting is calling for special screens on subway platforms to prevent suicides, reports say.
Details of the report - published by the Toronto Sun - say platform screen doors are the best way to prevent suicides.
The TTC experienced 18 suicide incidents, fatalities and attempts that led to almost 23 hours in delays last year, the Sun reports.
The commissioners meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.
