The TTC will decide Wednesday whether a bus driver who had their licence suspended for allegedly being under the influence on the job will be fired, reports say.

Adam Giambrone told the Globe and Mail that the employee "will be terminated, unless there's [something] outstanding."

Police stopped a bus on Friday March 12 just before 3 p.m. and gave the female driver a breathalyzer test.

A report in the Toronto Sun contained several details about the incident. The newspaper says it was a concerned passenger who called 911. The bus was near Dawes Road and Danforth Avenue, the report says.

Police say the driver was within the warn range – between 0.05 and 0.08 - but was not charged.

The Sun reports that the driver, Margaret Wilson, was given a 72-hour licence suspension. TTC spokesperson Kevin Carrington also says the driver has been suspended from work for three days without pay.
