Toronto FC has extended the contract of Rohan Ricketts through to the end of the 2009 season, the team said on Monday.

The team also officially announced the extension of Carl Robinson's and Danny Dichio's contract.

Ricketts joined the club in April 2008 and scored four goals plus four assists in his first season.

Dichio, 34, and Robinson, 32, were with Toronto FC for its inaugural season in 2007.

Despite being sidelined for several games with a head injury, Dichio was the team's second-highest scorer with five goals and three assists.

Robinson was the team's MVP for the second straight season.

The team isn't releasing the details of their contracts, including salary figures.

However, Dichio previously told CP24.COM that he took a pay cut for the '09 season so that he could still be a part of the team.
