Transit riders are being urged to stage a one-day boycott of the system over plans to boost the cost of an adult token by a quarter to three-dollars.
Nicole Winchester says a boycott would show the Toronto Transit Commission the effect a fare hike would have on ridership.
She says thousands of people have joined her Facebook page.
The TTC says a fare hike is needed to offset financial problems.
