Emergency crews were on the scene of a serious crash in Vaughan Friday afternoon.
Preliminary information from York Regional Police indicated that a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided at Highway 7 and Huntington Road shortly after 2 p.m.
Injuries were believed to be serious but non life-threatening, police said.
Police were unable to confirm how many people were injured in the collision.
All eastbound lanes of Highway 7 were blocked at Highway 50 as police investigated.
