A suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a teen was recently arrested in Seattle and transported back to Toronto to face charges.

On June 24, the Seattle Police Department arrested a man who is being accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year old in Toronto in 2006.

On July 12 officers from 31 Division went to Seattle and took custody of the man.

Doane Seales, 27, faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and forcible confinement.

He made his first court appearance Wednesday morning.

The Seattle Police Department, U.S.Marshals Service, U.S. Immigration, Canada Border Service Agency and the Toronto Police Service all worked together in his arrest and return to Canada.
