Students at three private schools have received swine flu shots, a newspaper is reporting.

St. Andrew's College in Aurora, Pickering College in Newmarket and the Hill Academy in Concord say some students and staff have been vaccinated against the H1N1 influenza, the Toronto Star is reporting.

St. Andrew's told the Star the early inoculation was the "ethically responsible choice" because of a high risk of transmission in the boarding school environment.

Limited vaccine supplies have forced some GTA clinics to close down.
