A 13-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, following an accident in Brampton.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. when a tractor-trailer collided with an SUV near Airport Road and Clark Boulevard.
There were three passengers inside the SUV, but the 13-year-old girl was the only one seriously injured. She was briefly trapped inside the vehicle until emergency crews were able to free her.
Her mother also suffered minor injuries, according to Peel Emergency Services.
Both have been taken to St. Michael's Hospital.
