BURLINGTON, Ont. - Three firefighters were injured Saturday battling a blaze in Burlington, Ont.

Fire crews were called to a townhouse on Bromley Road around 3:30 p.m.

Fire officials say their crews were forced out of the townhouse by intense flames.

They had to cut a hole in the roof of a nearby townhouse to prevent the fire from spreading.

Two firefighters were taken to hospital and a third was treated on site.

It's unclear what caused the blaze.
