TORONTO - Comedian Tom Green is invading the Gemini Awards' green room.
The outrageous comic has been tapped to host a behind-the-scenes show for the annual awards bash, which celebrates the best in Canadian television.
The hour-long "Tom Green Room" will be broadcast live on the CBC website before the TV broadcast.
CBC says the online show will feature interviews with celebrities.
Enrico Colantoni's "Flashpoint" and Jason Priestley's "Call Me Fitz" are among the leading nominees.
Jokes are also expected to fly during the TV broadcast, which will be hosted by comedy star Russell Peters.
