The last long weekend of the summer marks the final weekend to visit the Canadian National Exhibition. This is the 130th year for the fair.

The start of the annual Canadian International Air Show is just one of today's highlights. The midway closes up shop on Monday night.

Meanwhile, there are lots of other things going in the city today.

The 27th annual Hispanic Fiesta continues at Mel Lastman Square. The four-day festival wraps-up Monday, featuring the finest in traditional food, music and culture from Spain and Latin America.

In the northern part of the city, the sound of music is filling the air around Yorkville as the local BIA hosts a series of outdoor musical acts. The show is at Cumberland and Bellair Streets, from 2 p.m to 5 p.m.

Just three more days before school starts and shoppers will be out in full force taking advantage of Labour Day sales. Stores are open this weekend, but on Monday there are some closures to note.

Most malls along with grocery stores, the LCBO and Beer Stores are closed. Workers at government offices, banks, libraries and Canada Post will have the day off.

The TTC and GO Transit will be operating on holiday schedules.

There are some exceptions for grocery store closures. A few stores for those last minute shopping trips are open Monday. You can head to the Eaton Centre, Vaughan Mills, Pacific Mall or several stores on Queen's Quay, Yorkville and Yonge Street.
