Commuters in the city will once again be treated to complimentary TTC service to keep revelers safe and sound on New Year's Eve.

In a release issued Monday, the TTC said it will offer free service with extended hours beginning at midnight and running until 4 a.m.

Subway trains will run approximately every five minutes, and late night service will operate on most bus routes.

The last train departure times are:

· The last trains on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway will leave Union Station at 3:30 a.m. for Finch Station and 3:34 a.m. for Downsview Station.

· The last trains on the Bloor-Danforth Subway will leave Bloor-Yonge at 3:37 a.m. for Kipling Station and at 3:37 a.m. for Kennedy Station.

· The last train on the Scarborough RT will leave Kennedy at 4:05 a.m. for McCowan Station.

· The last train on the Sheppard Subway will leave Sheppard-Yonge at 3:58 a.m. for Don Mills Station.

New Year's Day service will run on the Sunday TTC schedule, with subway and most surface routes beginning at 9 a.m.
