Two Canada Post employees are accused of stealing pieces of mail, including cash and gift cards, from a postal outlet in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police say.

Police are asking residents of the northwest area of Mississauga, including Meadowvale and Streetsville, to call investigators if they didn't receive items they were expecting to be delivered by Canada Post.

It's believed cash, gift cards, electronics and anything of value were stolen from a Campobello Road facility, police said.

Peel police and Canada Post investigators looked into the thefts.

Police arrested a Brampton couple June 2.

Sandra Collins, 42, and James Koyanagi, 34, are charged with theft from mail and public servant refusing to deliver property, police said.

Anyone who didn't receive the items they were expecting in the mail is asked to call detectives at 905-453-2121 ext. 1133.
