Two Toronto men are under arrest and charged with sexual assault following allegations of abuse at a home daycare.

Armando Benevenga, 53, and Massimo Iaconetti, 38, face several charges after a 12-year-old girl told her parents she had been assaulted.

The assault allegedly took place at the Benevenga Daycare on Apted Avenue in the Steeles and Islington Avenues area.

Police say they later learned this was not the only incident. The victim says she had been sexually assaulted by the men when she was between the ages of four and six while at the same daycare, then located on Husband Drive.

Benevenga has been changed with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and sexual exploitation. Iaconetti has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

Investigators believe there could be other victims and want to speak with any parents or children who used the daycare on Apted Avenue or the previous location on Husband Drive.

Anyone with information should call police on 416−808−3105 or Crime Stoppers on (416) 222-TIPS.
