CP24 is celebrating the early bird draw for the Princess Margaret Home Lottery.

Remember, only those who have purchased a ticket before midnight on April 5 are eligible to win a luxury lake-front cottage on Kawartha Lakes among other eye-popping prizes.

Watch CP24 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on April 5 for your chance to win a ticket. Viewers will have to watch and catch the early bird on our screen. Once they spot him, they have to visit our website at CP24.com and fill out a form.

A winner will be randomly drawn each hour between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The winners will be contacted soon after.

The cottage is just one of 10 grand prize properties that PMH is giving away this year. Other prizes being given away to ticket holders include a $3.7-million home in Thornhill, a number of downtown Toronto condos, breathtaking family show homes, luxury cars, vacations to the world's top destinations and the latest technology.

But a word of caution to those of you who are hoping to try your chances -- you might want to start purchasing your tickets.

Officials with PMH have said that over 70 per cent of available tickets have now been sold.

Paul Alofs, president and CEO of PMHF said he wouldn't be surprised if the tickets sold out early.

"Tickets continue to sell quickly," he said in a news release. "We have a reputation for selling out early so we encourage our supporters who haven't yet purchased to get their tickets now, before they are all gone."

Tickets are selling for $100 each but buyers can purchase three tickets for $250. Five packs are also available for $375.

To purchase tickets or for more information on how to win a prize and a look at some of the other prizes available, visit HelpConquerCancer.ca or call 1-866-631-1234.

The prize draws start in April.
