A woman in her thirties has died after being hit by a SUV in mid-town on Monday evening.
Toronto police say the incident happened at about 6:25 p.m. near Davenport Road and Symington Avenue.
The pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
Davenport Avenue is closed between Wiltshire Avenue and Laughton Avenue, while Symington Avenue is closed from Davenport Road to Dupont Avenue.
The woman’s death marks the 14th death of a pedestrian on GTA roadways this month.
