A Toronto woman has been charged after leaving a five-week-old baby and a nine-year-old boy alone in a car in the parking lot of Casino Rama on Tuesday.
Security at the casino near Orillia found the children in a car and called police. They found the children's mother, 34, in the casino where she had been gambling.
The woman has been charged with two counts of child abandonment.
She was released and is scheduled to be in court in Orillia on November 4.
The childern are in the custody of the Children's Aid Society.
