TORONTO -- You oughta know -- Alanis Morissette will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at this year's Juno Awards.

Organizers say the singer-songwriter will receive the honour during the awards broadcast live in Hamilton on March 15.

In a statement, the Ottawa native says she's honoured to be recognized by her home country, which she adores "so much."

The pop-rock songstress has earned 13 Junos, seven Grammys and two Golden Globe nominations in her nearly three-decade career.

The Junos will air live on CTV and CTV Go from the FirstOntario Centre on March 15.

Morissette soared to international fame with the release of her hit 1995 album, "Jagged Little Pill."

With that record, Morissette won four Grammys including album of the year at the 1996 ceremony. She took the same prize -- along with four others -- at that year's Junos, which were coincidentally held in Hamilton.
