GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - The death of actress Amanda Peterson was the result of an accidental morphine overdose. That's the conclusion of the Weld County, Colorado, Coroner's Office.

The Greeley Tribune reports officials believe Peterson took a friend's morphine medication for unspecified pain a week before her death.

Peterson, who was 43, was best known for her role in the 1987 rom-com “Can't Buy Me Love.”
