No injuries were reported after a smoky fire broke out at a business near Pearson International Airport in Mississauga.
Police said the fire broke out at a business at Netherhart Road and Romani Court around 12:30 p.m.
Images and video sent to CP24 by viewers near the scene showed a large plume of thick black and white smoke billowing into the air.
Social media users nearby identified the business as a scrap yard.
By 1:30 p.m., police said the fire was out and that a mechanical issue was to blame.
Police did not say whether there was any property damage.
