The Canadian Centre for Policy Studies says it's concerned with the decision by the Liberal government to repeal Bill 115 effective today.
Calling the move "disturbing," the group says it does nothing to ward off the province's fiscal crisis.
Spokesman Mike Patton says Bill 115 -- which was used to impose contracts on teachers and other education workers -- represented a very modest attempt to assert some control over public-sector spending.
Patton says abandoning the legislation now is a disturbing signal that the government lacks the resolve to get its fiscal house in order.
