A ramp from Highway 400 southbound to Highway 401 westbound has reopened after a transport truck collided with a small car and rolled over Monday morning.

The truck rolled over around 9 a.m., spilling debris into the roadway.

Ontario Provincial Police, fire trucks and paramedics were called to the scene.

It’s not clear exactly what the truck was carrying. Pictures from the scene appeared to show garbage or construction debris strewn across the roadway.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash. One of them was treated at the scene and the other was taken to a local hospital.

The ramp was closed for several hours so that the debris could be cleared away. It finally reopened around 4 p.m.
