A girl, approximately 12-years-old, was hit by a truck in Scarborough Thursday morning.
Toronto police said the collision happened around 8:25 a.m. near Markham Road and Nugget Avenue.
The girl is breathing and conscious, police said, and is being taken to hospital.
The driver is at the scene and police are investigating.
