Police say a 21-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving after he attempted to walk away from the scene of an accident in York Mills early Saturday morning.
According to police, the suspect crashed his vehicle in the middle of the intersection at Bayview Avenue and York Mills Road at around 4 a.m., spewing debris all over the street.
Police allege that the driver then attempted to walk away from the scene; however he was apprehended a short time later.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
