Investigators say they have arrested a 48-year-old Toronto man who allegedly tried to lure a 15-year-old girl into his car in Scarborough’s Wexford area back in September.
On Sept. 20 at about 1:30 p.m., police said the suspect was driving his four-door Honda Fit hatchback in the area of Victoria Park and Lawrence Avenue.
Police allege the suspect followed and repeatedly called out to the girl, asking her to get in his car.
On Oct. 13, police arrested a suspect identified as Konstantinos Akouros.
He faces two counts of criminal harassment.
He appeared in court at 1530 Markham Road on Oct. 13.
Police say they believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
The suspect is known to drive a black 2015 Honda Fit with the license plate BWXV 483.
