A male pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in the city’s east end, a representative with Toronto Paramedic Services has confirmed.
The man was struck while crossing Eglinton Avenue just west of Victoria Park Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
The area is currently closed as police continue to investigate.
