Man rushed to hospital after east end stabbing
Investigators allege a woman was held captive in two apartments in the city's east end and violently assaulted by a man and three women with a variety of weapons over four days last December.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in the Danforth Road and Birchmount Road area Sunday.
Paramedics responded to a call for help around 2:45 p.m. at an address on Pilkington Drive.
Upon arrival they found the 24-year-old victim suffering from stab wounds and transported him to hospital via emergency run.
The stabbing occurred after the man had a fight with his brother, police said.
Police said one person is in custody and charges will be laid.
