A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and his common law partner was taken into custody following a stabbing at a Scarborough apartment building early Wednesday morning.
It happened at an address on Lawrence Avenue east of Markham Road at around 1:40 a.m.
Paramedics say a large weapon, possibly a chef’s knife, was used in the attack.
The man suffered a stab wound to his abdomen as a result.
