A 21-year-old man who volunteered with the athletics department at a North York School has been arrested in connection with the repeated sexual assault of a student.
Police say the man was volunteering at William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute near Sheppard Avenue and Allen Road when he made attempts to befriend a 15-year-old girl.
The man is alleged to have then sexually assaulted the girl on six occasions between January 31, 2014 and November 30, 2014.
Andres Chicas, 21, of Toronto, was arrested on Friday and charged with six counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
Police say Chicas may have additional victims.
