Ontario Provincial Police say a 39-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Milton.
The collision occurred around 12:30 p.m., just east of Guelph Line.
Police the victim was the lone occupant of the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries after she veered off the road, entered a ditch and struck several trees.
The woman has been identified as Krista Todorowski, of Kitchener.
