Police say they have taken one person into custody on an alcohol-related driving offence after a car slammed into a tree and then hit a house in Scarborough on Thursday morning.
It happened on Santamonica Blvd. near St. Clair Ave. and Warden Ave. at around 10 a.m.
Police have not said whether or not anyone was injured as a result of the accident.
