Ontario Provincial Police say 10 or more vehicles were involved in three separate crashes on the Burlington Skyway this afternoon.
The collisions all happened in the Toronto-bound lanes and at least one person, a motorcyclist, had been transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two left lanes of the highway were closed due to the crashes but the lanes have since reopened.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crashes.
