Police say they want to hear from anyone who had contact with a Toronto fashion photographer who is accused of sexually assaulting a young woman.

The woman told police she was 18 when she was sexually assaulted at a home near Dundas Street East and Dalhousie Street on July 30, 2012.

Investigators believe there may be additional complainants.

In a news release, police said the photographer advertised under the social media name of “Jay Dreamcollector,” and he offered to photograph female university students for free in exchange for modelling services.

There are several online profiles, event listings or websites under the name “Jay Dreamcollector,” including an ad for a party at a condominium at 155 Dalhousie St. last August.

According to an event listing for “The Don’t Be Sad Summer is Done BBQ Pool Party,” there was no cover charge for women, but men had to pay $22 to enter.

“Ladies Free to attend. Dress to impress,” the event listing says.

“Not only do we work with professional models, we also work with girls who have little previous experience,” an online profile for Jay Dreamcollector says. “We believe through the lens, every girl is beautiful. We are always looking for models, with or without previous photoshoot experience.”

Police said a 34-year-old suspect was arrested Monday and charged with one count of sexual assault.

Investigators are asking anyone who had contact with the suspect to call them at 416-808-5151 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
