Toronto police say they have charged a man for allegedly selling industrial-size gas ovens to various food outlets, caterers and some homeowners that had counterfeit safety certificates.

At a press conference at Toronto police headquarters scheduled for Friday morning, investigators will show several items seized during their investigation.

In some instances, police say the ovens were installed by unqualified gas fitters.

Several experts will be on hand at the press conference to advise consumers on how to report any concerns they might have to police.
