Police are looking for a white minivan that fled the scene after striking a pedestrian near College Park on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on College Street near Yonge Street at around 9:45 a.m.
Police say that the pedestrian sustained minor injuries.
The minivan was last seen fleeing the scene southbound along Yonge Street, police say.
In a message posted to Twitter following the hit-and-run, Mayor John Tory said that “too many people are getting hit by cars in our city” and urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact police.
