A 59-year-old man has been arrested after a female customer was allegedly sexually assaulted by the owner/operator of a Scarborough spiritual centre.
Police say the woman attended the Deepam Puja Centre on Passmore Avenue near Markham Road on Nov. 7, where she was offered meditation and counselling services by the owner/operator.
During the service, police say the woman was sexually assaulted.
Ramsankar "Gopal" Singh, of Toronto was arrested on Wednesday and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation in connection with the case.
Police say there could be more victims.
