A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of two banks in the city’s west end over the last three weeks.
According to police, the suspect first struck on Aug. 12, robbing a bank on Bloor Street near Jane Street.
Police say the same suspect then robbed a bank on Wincott Drive in the Eglinton Avneue and Kipling Avenue area on Saturday.
Jesse Lawrence Demers has been charged with two counts of robbery.
