Toronto police have released surveillance video in connection with a downtown attack that left several people seriously injured in March.

According to police, several young people were buying hot dogs from a vendor in the John and Front streets area when they got into a verbal confrontation with a group of men at around 3 a.m. on March 30.

A fight ensued, and the young people were kicked and punched resulting in serious injuries.

The men fled in the scene in various directions following the altercation.

On Wednesday, police released surveillance camera footage of the incident.

Investigators are looking for a group of men described as being in their early 20s. One is described as wearing a white T-shirt and white pants, with a “faux-hawk” hair style.

Police believe he was driving a white, four-door 2004-2008 Mercedes-Benz CLS.
