Toronto police are searching for four teenage boys no older than 17 after a taxi driver was attacked and robbed near Davisville TTC station May 9.

Police said the taxicab brought the four boys to Davisville station at about 9 p.m. on May 9 and stopped on Chaplin Crescent west of Yonge Street to let them out.

The boys then got out of the cab and allegedly assaulted its driver, stealing an unknown quantity of cash.

One white assailant wore a blue LA Dodgers baseball cap, a dark t-shirt with horizontal stripes on the front and dark coloured pants.

Another suspect is described as having brown skin. He wore an Oakland Raiders baseball hat and a blue long-sleeved shirt.

A third boy is described as white and was seen wearing a burgundy Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap and a burgundy t-shirt.

A fourth boy is described as white and had dark hair and was wearing a baseball cap. Police said all are between the ages of 14 and 17.

Investigators say several bystanders may have taken photos of the incident as it took place.
