Toronto police have released security camera footage of four suspects accused of beating a 20-year-old victim unconscious and robbing him last week in the Annex.

Police say that at about 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 21, the four suspects lured a man into an alleyway near the intersection of Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street West.

The victim was allegedly struck unconscious by one of the suspects, dragged out of the view of passing pedestrians, and robbed of his personal belongings.

Police allege the victim was also kicked while he was in a “defenseless state.”

Investigators hope the security camera footage will help identify the suspects.
