Toronto police are trying to identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that took place in the Wilson Heights area Tuesday evening.
According to police, a 23-year-old woman was walking in the Wilson Avenue and Allen Road area at around 8 p.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her.
The woman told police that she was pinned against a concrete barrier and sexually assaulted.
She fought off the suspect, who fled westbound on Wilson Avenue.
The suspect is described as a man between 30 and 50 years of age, black, with a full black beard. He was wearing a black toque, black bomber-style jacket and dark pants.
