Pop icon Prince will be playing a last-minute concert in Toronto early next week.
The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts confirmed that the show will be held at the downtown venue on Tuesday.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday at noon through Live Nation.
As part of the “HitNRun” tour Prince and his backing band 3RDEYEGIRL have made stops in Kentucky and most recently in Baltimore for the 'Rally 4 Peace' show.
In a tweet sent out Saturday, Mississauga native and 3RDEYEGIRL guitarist Donna Grantis wrote “#HOMECOMING” along with a link to an article confirming the Toronto date.

The news comes just months after many Prince fans lined up around the block at Massey Hall on Nov. 4 for a rumoured surprise concert that never happened.
Live Nation apologized for the conflicting information, saying Ticketmaster had posted incorrect concert information on their website.
