There are some major road and subway closures to be aware of this weekend.
A portion of Eglinton Avenue West will be closed until Monday to allow crews to repair a possible sinkhole between Glenhaven and Keele streets. Metrolinx says crews working on an LRT construction site noticed unexplained leaking soil and water from the concrete on Wednesday night, which led them to believe that there’s a possible sinkhole 20 meters under the road’s surface.
There will also be no service between St. George and Lawrence West stations on Saturday due to track work. Shuttle buses will be available at all stations but Eglinton West because of the road construction, but customers can catch the shuttle at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue and Bathurst Street.
Regular TTC service will resume at 6 a.m. Monday.
