Halton Regional Police have released surveillance camera images of a suspect accused of robbing a pharmacy of powerful prescription painkillers in Burlington on Friday.

Police say that at 9:42 a.m. on Friday, a man entered Wincore Pharma Save pharmacy at 2501 Guelph Line in Burlington. He allegedly approached the pharmacist and demanded oxycodone and related medication, while producing a plastic bag.

Police say no weapon was seen during the encounter.

The suspect received an unknown amount of oxy neo, oxycodone and oxycet and fled the pharmacy, climbing into a waiting silver or grey minivan.

The vehicle was last seen heading north on Guelph Line.

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes. He was seen wearing a black jacket with fur lining its hood, a black scarf over his face, and black Nike track pants with a white stripe.

He also wore black running shoes with red and white soles.
