Durham police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect after a female passenger was inappropriately touched aboard a GO train last Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the passenger was on a train travelling between Whitby and Ajax when she was approached by a male shortly before 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18.
The victim was touched inappropriately after the male sat down beside her, police allege.
She reported the incident to GO Transit officials, who then contacted police.
The suspect is described as white or possibly of Asian descent, 19 to 22 years old, approximately five-foot-nine, with a slender build, brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.
