Police are searching for a suspect after a runner was sexually assaulted early this morning.
According to police, the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was out for a run in the MacDonald Avenue and Pine Street area, near Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue, when she was approached from behind, knocked to the ground and sexually assaulted at around 2 a.m.
A passerby came to the woman’s aid and called police following the assault.
The suspect is described as brown, in his mid-20s, approximately five-foot-six, with slicked-back black hair.
He was last seen wearing a v-neck T-shirt, dark jeans and a chain-like necklace.
